Terms of Service

Last updated: July 18, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Unfold mobile app and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using Unfold, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service. For privacy details, see our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Unfold is a wedding planning tool that helps you organize tasks, events, guests, vendors, outfits, and related planning details. Features may change over time as we improve the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be able to form a binding contract to use Unfold.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Unfold (such as planning details, guest lists, notes, and photos). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit that content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service, including sharing it with collaborators you invite.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit content and that your content does not violate law or someone else’s rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Upload malware or content you do not have rights to use
  • Misuse invitation or collaboration features to spam or harass others
  • Reverse engineer or copy the Service except as allowed by law

5. Collaborators and invitations

If you invite others to a wedding plan, you are responsible for who you invite and for the access level you grant. Collaborators may be able to view or edit planning content according to their role.

6. Third-party services

Unfold relies on third-party providers (including authentication, cloud hosting, and push notification services). Your use of those providers may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.

7. Subscriptions and fees

Unfold is currently offered free of charge. If we introduce paid features later, we will present the applicable pricing and terms before you purchase.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Wedding planning involves many personal decisions; Unfold is a planning aid and does not guarantee outcomes, vendor performance, timelines, or event success. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unfold and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

10. Termination

You may stop using Unfold at any time and may delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Some provisions of these Terms will survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
